ok guys, im posting this for a friend. she got some paint on her lower rocker panels and it won't come off. already tried claying. help her out guys.

Try mineral spirits. It is clear coat safe. Works on some paint and wont work on others, I have had alot of success with it so far.

she tried goo gone and paint thinner. (is that the same as mineral spirits?)



No luck.

Mineral spirits, AFAIK, is a broad term for petroleum-based solvents.



Some are stronger though... sorry I don't know how to get this paint off. Try everything else non-abrasive first, but I bet the nuclear bomb, lacquer thinner, would take it off (without removing her existing paint of course).

hey joel, how long has the paint been on there? i've got some really strong solvents that i use for just that kind of problem, but if the paint has been there for a long time it probably won't work. email me or call me.
