Paint question

I will be detailing some cars for my uncle. He usually buys older cars, drives them awhile, then sells them. Most of these cars are 60's or early 70's, which I am guessing is single stage paint. Is there anything I need to take precautions with? Any products that shouldn't be used on single stage paint? I primarily use Hi- Temp Products for polishing, and use both a Cyclo and a PC, but not a rotary. Thanks for any help.

For single stage paint you want to compound if the paint needs oxidadtion removed then polish and wax. You can use a sealant after polish but I never do. I would use a cutting pad on the compound then a polishing pad and hand wax. This should bring back the luster in the paint OK
