How to keep the edges clean and protected so in the future I don`t have to spend a few hours cleaning the edges with a toothpick and a cleaner?
Will applying wax do the job and keep dirt out?
I have a white Speedster and all along the ppf you can see where I was cleaning.

by green- IME, having LSP at the edges does help, at least as long as the edges aren`t lifting or otherwise allowing stuff to get under them.

just be sure to work along/with/parallel to the edge to avoid buildup, and apply very, very thin (preferably using a light, liquid product that`ll basically WOWO/WOWA.

I have Detailed a lot of vehicles with PPF and all my vehicles have ppf in certain places... I also have no rock chips on the vehicles...
I only wash PPF from the back side toward all the edges... That helps a lot in keeping stuff from being pushed close to or under edges..

Last, I like to do a pressure wash to all vehicles Prior to actually washing them, and I always CAREFULLY, get just so close to all edges using the widest fan spray I can get on the pressure washer... I have no issues with any PPF edges ever..

When polishing, paint correcting, I Always run a piece of 1/8" painters tape along All edges, and again, work the correction, polish, etc., from the Back of the PPF to the front Edges...
