Paint Hardness 2004 Ford Explorer

Does anyone have an idea on the clear coat hardness of 2004 Fords? Looking to give my explorer it's first detail this spring. I planned on testing with some 205/white LC pad on a DA and see where that gets me, but I thought I'd see if someone was familiar with 2004 Ford paint.

I worked on a silver one and i would consider it hard.

Fords usually have a medium/hard clear.

My '03 Ranger and other Fords of that general vintage have been predictably in the middle.

i got a 04 mustang and the clear to me is soft ,but they may use a different clear on a mustang than on a explore.my 01 explore is i say in the medium/ soft.

I've always found Ford to have soft clear that's easy to work with/polish.
