Paint color and wax

I am sorry if this is a newbie question, but I've seen mixed thoughts on this. Does some wax do better on ceartain colors? I know a wax only puts a protective layer over the clear coat or sealant. I have a white 2013 VW cc and plan on clay baring sealing and waxing, is there a better wax to use for a white vehicle?

In my opinion, yes. Waxes/Sealants/Coatings all have different reflective qualities, just like paint colors do.

Some waxes/sealants/coating are darken paint, some make it brighter, some have more depth, some have more shine, some look wetter... etc. You want to team your LSP to your color for the best results in your eyes.

On white cars I like to use brighter products, something that doesn't really add depth but something that adds reflectivity.

If you are looking for a natural carnauba based wax, Dodo Juice Diamond White or Pinnacle Sig. Series II.

If you want a paint sealants, BLACKFIRE Crystal Seal or Detailer's Poli-Coat.

If you are looking for a coating, go with Detailer's Paint Coating or CarPro CQuartz.
