My red CRV was very pinkish looking and dull when I bought it so I got out the 3M Perfect-It rubbing compound and SMR and it is now bright red again and perfect. Except for the rear hatch handle and spare tire mount, which don't lend themselves at all to rubbing compound due to some lettering on the handle and odd shape of the spare time mount. I'm wondering if any of the "paint cleansing" lotions, etc might do the trick on these hard to get to places. Any suggestions?
