Pads For PC

I bought some Pads for my PC from SMP. Are the pads they sell any good because it seems that I cannot get out the swirls with them. Any suggestions on good pads? I don't know what size they are, but what size is the best for getting tough swirls out? Thanks
 
I can think of several other factors that you have not mentioned.

What type of pad are you using? (Make and color which would determine the cutting ability of the pad. What type of product are you using on what type of car? Are you letting the polish breakdown enough for it to actually work?



You may have the right stuff in hand already.

For swirls, I have been advised to get a 4" backing plate to use with 4-4.5" yellow/orange pads. Lake Country makes some good ones.
