Pad Sizes Question

I have a quick question on what size pads do most people use on rotaries. I just purchased a Dewalt rotary with a 8 inch pad kit but I need to purchase some smaller size pads and different finishing pads. I was looking at CCS 6.5 or 5.5 inch pads but I am not sure which will be a better all around pad. I will end up purchasing both kits but as far as right now money is a little tight so I can only get one kit. The 8 inch pads are great for the hood and trunk and roof but as far as quarter panels and fenders they just aren't working out. Thanks for any advice/guidance.

I tried the search again and got better results this time. It seems like most people are using 6-6.5 inch pads. If anyone else would like to chime in that would be great.
