Nice and Cool
I have seen several threads on polishing diamond plate aluminum with the mothers ball and a quality polish. My question is do any vendors make a pad for my UDM that will withstand that type of surface? I've had good luck with the small oragne pads, but prefer not to tear them to shreds.

I have had good luck with wool pads on aluminum. Mostly I guess because I never use wool on my paint and had a few left overs from some pad sets that I purchased in the past. I used my rotary with the wool pad on my aluminum camper. I used a low speed because it was a dirty job. The pads became very dirty and stained. After washing they remained stained but otherwise clean.
