pad selection and preferences

If I had all the time and money I would buy them and test them all, but I simply don't. I use mainly menzerna products for polishing and compounding needs. I have a dewalt rotary and a pc. I like to use lake country pads for the pc and edge pads for the rotary. Any suggestions or preferences for pad use? I use menzerna compound, super intense polish, and nano polish. I really would like any input you can provide. Thanks!!:getdown
 
I really would like compounding pad suggestions!!! I felt that I wasn't getting the result I could have with the edge 4 inch wool pad while using the compound by menzerna. Any ideas?
 
I like the ccs foam pads by lake country. I also use the menzerna polishes, super intensive, final polish, and 106ff. I use a makita high speed and the 7 inch pads, and the 4 inch for tighter areas. Try m105 compund by megs if you feel you need more cut. It has a lot of cut and it cuts fast. It gums up on the pad more than the menzerna, so look out. It has been my experience, that because there are so many variables in machine polishing, you need to test a lot, and see what works best for you.
