Ok, so today I was using my Orange Propel pad that I got from Patrick to polish some nasty scratches and other junk on the roof of a car. Finished up, and brought it down to the basement to clean it up. It while i was looking at it before I cleaned it (just something I do), I noticed some cracks running perpindicular on the edge of the pad where the velcro meets the foam. I looked a little closer, and it looks about half way around the pad there is a crack where the foam meets the velcro. Is this the beginnings of pad delamination? It doesnt look like the velcro is coming off clean either, like the glue isnt holding, it looks like some of the foam is actually tearing off with it. Is this normal? Faulty pad? Bad use?
This is only the second time I have used the pad, so I had only washed it once pervious to this. The only thing I could think of was the way I washed it, which wasnt very harsh. Put a *small* amout of soap on the pad, worked it around with my fingers, and rinsed it off. Attempted to get all the soap out of the pad through repeated rinsing, and then let it air dry. I dont know how that could have caused this. I will try to get pictures later so you can see better, but any ideas at this point would be greatly appreciated.
