I just bought a jar of p21s at my local Harley dealer and was looking forward to trying it,but in the reviews I got the impression it doesn't do much for a white car, kinda like that fine wine,Souveran.I guess I can always get my CTS painted black.

Well, S100(which I assume is what you got at the Harley shop and is supposedly the same as P21S) worked pretty good on my 1998 Lincoln Navigator with 103,000 miles and stored outside 24/7.

Wow - looks nice :xyxthumbs

It's not that P21s "doesn't work that good on white". White isn't a color that is going to show alot of depth and have a contrast between the shine and color of the car. P21s is awesome wax, on any color. Period.

Just for the record, here is what it does on black.

Oh.. and this too.. (If you can't tell, I love this wax. It's awesome, and so fun to use...)

Here's a good link to a discussion on detailing white vehicles. S100 is an excellent wax, and even though I use sealants for greater protection and durability, I always keep a layer of S100 on top, for the pure beauty of it. I don't have any really good recent pictures, but at 158,000 miles and 24/7 outdoor storage, my white '96 Jeep looks as good as that Navigator, when the light is right.

There are some good tips in this thread for detailing white vehicles.

Good luck!

Ahhh.. so you think mine's stock.. Interesting...

You'll beat me on the drag, but bring'er to the auto-x course and we'll have some fun!

Nice car btw! The exhaust sounds awesome! I'm sure she's quick!!

True, the suspension on F-Bodies isn't that great, at least in stock trim. I'm sure you would take me in the auto-x, unless there's lots of straightaways. Thanks for the compliments, BTW, what's under your p21s? I topped the 3m SWM and Klasse SG with it. I think there's even some NXT in there somewhere too.

Hey,

I don't even know what's on my car right now.. I've been sampling with everything, and I have a 67 MGB in the garage being restored, so the maita's outside, and i've just been adding one product over another...

There's some NXT, S100, AIO, SG, Gliptone teflon, American Shine, and even some Nu finish on my car at the moment....

But in that picture, my process was 3M fine cut, Klasse AIO, then S100. I think that's my fav. combo ever...

Right now i'm playing with a few Gliptone products which are awesome, and the American Shine wax, which could be the easiest to use wax ever, and is quickly crawling into my top 5 favorites...

But dark cars and S100.... mmmmm... they go together like catholic school girls and whipped cream....

Yeah, they sure do. I think next, I'm gonna try the SG topped with P21S after using Menzerna IP and FP.

I don't know why though, but....I still want to try Zaino. I'm a fan of the carnuba look and I know that Zaino really gives a totally different look but I've seen some awesome black cars with Zaino.

Here's some more pics of the TA with P21S.

I have some P21S coming soon (hopefully) -- I'll be using it on the silver and blue VWs, and I'll post pics when I can.
