P21S Wax leave residue

I have a 2003 FX dark silver and i washed with dawn, used the p21 cleaner, then wax. I noticed as I wiped off the wax from the hood there would be lots of small globs/residue on the hood. I'm assuming it was the wax. As I pushed real hard with a clean piece of cotton flannel I could work the stuff out. Does this mean I am applying to much wax? I use the applicator that comes with the p21s. I do tend to apply the product heavy I think.

I would say I put it on thick.

I think GEPC leaves more of a residue than does P21S.

it's probably too thick. did you buff it before it totally hazed over? the longer it stays on, the harder it is to buff.

Sounds to me like there was chunks of wax in the applicator that were being passed along to the surface while applying. This usually happens from using too much product and/or using too much pressure to scoop product out of the jar and onto the applicator.



I'd suggest trying to use less wax next time and see if that helps out.

also try to take it off sooner. i had that pronlem i let it dry to long
