P21s/s100

I just picked up a pot of S100 100% carnauba wax from my local harley dealer. I was surprised by the price - only $16. I got home and gave the car a wash, then started applying the s100. WOW does this stuff go on thin. I thought I was doing it wrong until I buffed off the car. I have never seen my car look this wet. I have used products like Pete's 53', Natty's blue, FK1000p, AGHD, and a few Megs wax's, I was amazed at this shine though. It looks amazing.

I am most surprised by how easy it went on and off. I have heard horror stories about 100% Carnauba and it's application. I was pleasantly surprised.

Does is actually state "100% carnauba" on the jar? I know S100 can be had at any Harley dealership for around $15, but I'm pretty sure S100 also contains paraffin wax and beeswax. If it does state "100% carnauba" on the jar, then it would be a new formula.

I guess I read wrong, it states that it is "...Made with a unique blend of pure Brazilian no. 1 yellow carnauba (the world's hardest wax) and beeswax..."

Too bad. Would have liked S100 "100% Carnauba" for $15. Still, it would be really hard to improve on S100 as is.

P21s 100% is a breeze to use. I would say imo it has a better shine and last longer than both the P21s and s100. I have all three. Now imo the s100 and the P21s not the (100%) look the same to me.

P21s 100% is one of my favorite waxes and I have everything from the cheaper waxes on up to the very high dollar Swissvax and Zymol waxes.

Just used today my S100 for the first time. To preempt I do think that for 20 dollars (shipping cost to GR included) it is huge value for money!

It went on top of 1 coat of 1000p (about 3 months old) and 1 coat of Race Glaze 55 (2,5 months old). The car has been polished with flex3401 and menz106 prior to sealing with the 1000p.

As everyone has mentioned on-off has been a breeze. I used a typical yellow foam pad and a eurow mf to buff off. Have to admit that a lot of residue was left on the pad during cleaning. Perhaps I used a lot, but I think it layered quite thinly and also came off easy after the swipe test.

Now coming to the looks. Deeper and more liquid than RG55, which is considered a very decent wax in these areas. Also fantastic flake pop! No discernible slickness to the touch advantage over either 1000p or RG55.

Overall I am very happy with the result so far and if it stays solid for even 1 month I will be quite satisfied, as I have no problem waxing once every 4 weeks.

I'm still using P21S/S100 concours wax - I like it. Other products, particularly in my prep phases, may leave the car looking really shiny but it lacks the depth given by the final result. I don't know how else to describe it. Using indirect sunlight - when my other prep steps are done my Barritz Blue BMW looks like a super shiny blue car. Once two coats of P21S go on it looks like a really shiny "dark coloured" car and you can't always tell it's blue.

I have not tried the 100% yet. I think it became available right after I bought my last tub of concours. It takes me years to go through a tub of this stuff and by the time I run out of this tub I might move on to a completely different LSP to shake things up.
