P21S/S100 vs Natty Blue for Black Metallic (rainspots?)

I love the Natty's Blue on my Black metallic car, its the wettest wax and lets my metallic flakes pop the most I've used so far. I've also tried my friends P21S recently and I have to admit the 2 are pretty close in appereance but I could never compare the 2 at their peaks.



This is what I've noticed about the 2 waxes, and I can't make up my mind between the 2 so can you guys please help me out with this? And answer that first question please?



1) Natty's Blue seems to let rain spots dry white very easily! Did anybody else notice this?

2) Natty's Blue leaves almost a slightly rough surface instead of totally smooth like P21S

3) Natty's Blue is SLIGHTLY wetter, shinier, and more flake pop?

3) P21S is smoother & easier to use, and doesn't leave those rain spots

4) P21S has POOR durability, which is pretty important for me.



So i'm not sure which to buy again, Natty's blue or S100?



PS- I was thinking of getting OCW for ease of use, how would applying Natty's/P21S and OCW over it come out?



Is there any good and quick spray sealants you would recommend for my car over Natty's/P21S?
 
I've used both, although have much more experience with NB. I haven't found either one to be durable. Particularly on my wife's Acura, water spots are an issue. Have you considered applying one or more coats of sealant prior to the wax? I generally go with one (or two, if number of days allow) coats of either EX or EX-P (or Four Star UPP) before adding coats of carnuba.



I've found that NB leaves the finish remarkably wet - a bit more so than P21S - but that's strictly subjective and based on one vehicle that's received both. I can't say that either one is hard to use, but I'd actually give that nod to NB.



I had some streaking issues the first couple of times I used it, but have since grown fond of Poorboy's Spray & Gloss as a finisher between coats of NB.
 
yea, my NB seemed to last about a month or more, while the P21S was completely gone by 3 weeks. I never got a chance to do the whole Poorboy's polish w/C Blue, EX, then NB. But I have done the Polish + NB and it gave incredible results. But how in the world do you have time to do all that in one day? I spend almost a whole day doing wash, polish, and NB. with no washes or anything in between polishing & waxing.
 
Definitely not a one day thing - sorry, should've been more clear on that. Although I've applied them same-day, I always try to leave 24 hours between coats of sealant and wax. On my vehicles I generally spread this out over a couple of weekends.
 
I did not experience poor durability with P21S. It was about the same as Natty's Blue on my car but in any event both are good quality waxes. P21S works especially well for silver as does regular Nattys. I like Blue Nattys on dark colors best.
 
I've used/use, had success with and like both of them. Natty's is slightly less expensive than P21S but not much different than S100. Actually I feel very strongly both ways! :rolleyes:
 
I have found the total opposite as far as durabilty goes. After my first wash Natty's was gone, but the GPEC lasted another month. I tottaly don't understand the knocks on GPEC's durabilty, my findings are different. If protection is your thing I would go with GPEC out of these two. If durabilty means nothing I would go with Natty's, it's noticably darker and wetter. I also noticed that Natty's leaves an oily surface after application, but GPEC leaves more of a shell, again totally different than you. One other thing is that Natty's has a real nice smell, easy to love. If I waxed every week I would chose Natty's above all others that I've tried. I used S100 so I'm wondering if it does have a difference to p21s.
 
I think I like Natty's better over p21s. Difference is a bit marginal, but natty's seem to be a bit more on the wet side. Durability is rougly the same, but I just use these as a topper. Collinite 845 seems to provide a decent base coat for me.
 
thanks for all the replies, I did notice that Natty's seems to be wetter & darker. I was considering the P21S for ease of use (not to complain about nattys). In the end I think I will either stick with Nattys Blue or try that Japanese Soft99 Authentic wax. And pick up some OCW too.



But did anyone else notice that water spot issue with Natty's? Is it just natty's and not P21S/other carnubas?
