P21S auto wash haziness?

Anyone use P21S on a painted surface and notice subsequent hazing on dark colors? I was using this to clean my window trim before applying Forever Black, and got a little of it on the paint, afterwards noticing a cloudy, white haze in the affected area. I use Zaino, if that makes any difference.

It's really very subtle; I only notice it under direct light. I'm wondering if it's reacting with the Zaino in some way.

Possibly it didn't get rinsed completely off the paint and what you are seeing is soap film residue.

Yep, or you didn't keep it rinsed during the wash process. Some car washes contain a considerable amount of oils for lubrication. If those oils are allowed to dry before they get rinsed, it might cause the hazing.

Personally, I've used P21 wash in the past and never had the problem. I would also make sure you are diluting it as instructed on the bottle. An heavy "overdose" of the car wash solution can make it difficult to rinse properly............ and with some washes, and overdose can strip waxes. (but probably not Zaino)

That's what I was thinking.

Another possibilty is the forever black ran and is not on the paint. Yet another possibilty is whatever product you had on the trim which you were cleaning off washed off the trim and stuck to the paint.

Did you rewash the area?

I haven't rewashed the area (it's not my daily driver, so it stays in the garage and doesn't often get washed), but I'm thinking that either I didn't dilute the p21s enough, or just that there's still some residue left on there. I don't think the Forever Black ran, as I was pretty careful applying it.

So, if I understand correctly, when properly diluted, the p21s shouldn't leave a film, right?

Thanks for the help :)
