Oxy-clean = stain remover?

Just curious if anyone has tried this stuff (Oxy-clean) as an alternative route for stain removal from interior carpets / floor mats? Seems like it would work... can anyone confirm or deny this theory

I use it to soak my MF towels and wash the terry towels in the machine. As for stain removal never tried it.

I've used it at a strength of 4/5 'scoops' per gallon. It' works really well at that strength, but it will leave a white residue if you don't rinse it well (especially on plastic & vinyl)
