OXO Feathered-tip Wash Brush

For me, washing a clean, Zaino'd car can be fun at times, but on the dirty daily driver, it takes me forever with a mitt. Has anyone tried the OXO feathered-tip wash brush that CMA sells?

I think it would work well on lower panels... I could buy 3 sheepskin mitts for the same price, though. Can I ask the infamous, "Does it scratch?"

I searched. ;)

I use it on lower problems w/out a problem. Very soft and hasn't scratched or marred any lower panles. It does work really well.

I have this thing still wrapped in plastic. It's not as soft as a boar's hair brush, so I'm too chicken to use it. In one of David's pics, he's using it on the lower portions of his Porsche.

I have used it on really dirty cars on the lower panels. I did notice marring, since I was going to polish anyway, I didn't worry about. I don't know if the extreme dirt affected its' performance or not.

I wouldn't use it on a perfectly swirl free finish, but that's just me.

FWIW, I bought mine at TJMaxx or Marshall's for about $4.

I have used it on both my car and my wife's car, and have noticed no marring at all. My car is a lighter grey color, so any marring would be hard to see, but even with my best efforts to spot any marring, I haven't seen any. My wife's car is a dark grey, and I haven't noticed any marring on it either. I am going to be removing some swirls from my car in the near future, and I'll break out the dual 500 watt halogens and see if the brush leaves any marring that can be seen with that.

What I have noticed with the brush, is that it takes me longer to wash the car. That probably stems from my fear of scratching my paint. It is nice in the winter when you don't want to get your hands wet though.
