overspray removal on my pressure washer

so, way back when my pressure washer was a rather large paper weight, I had left it in the garage when I did my own garage spray booth thing-- the unit got oversprayed with clear and I'm thinking I'd like to try to clean it up a bit.



I could probably take my time with the tank and frame if I really wanted to, but what about all the crevices and intricate metal parts? Essentially I think I need a spray on/liquid product that can dissolve this, but I'm coming up blank for anything except paint stripper and that's probably too caustic for aluminum right?





Just checking in to make sure I'm not over looking anything and that I'll just have to 'deal with it'.

You could try some clay to remove it first before getting into any chemical stripper. I would try that first.

You could try some clay to remove it first before getting into any chemical stripper. I would try that first.

I can handle the clay on the painted surfaces. I'm talking about the bare metal surfaces. The bLock, the pump, the carb, the plastic trim, ect.

Clay should work on the plastic too. The bare metal may need aircraft stripper.
