Overspray Happy Ending

I found this on my roof the other day after I got my car back from having the hood sprayed (clear). At first I thought "what the hell? has there been a really bad case of overspray and this is what's left of an attempt to polish it out?"

I got the car into my garage tonight and got a good look at it under fluoros (and halogens) and you can really see the lines radiating out from the point. Turns out (confirmed with the shop too) that this is probably an area where the tape lifted during spraying and some spray got in underneath.



Anyway - the good news is that it clayed out with Sonus Green no problems tonight! I've only done the thick spots and will follow with a full clay, Sonus SFX2, then Klasse twins before I post AFTER shots!! :clap:

Glad to hear you've had some *good* news (well, relatively speaking), you were certainly due for some. The OS must not be very firmly adhered if the Sonus Green takes it off, good thing you had that AIO on it when it went to the shop.
 
Yeah - thats the only thing I can think of that protected it... thanks to the Klasse Gods! It looks pretty nasty huh? Its is all gone now though!!
 
Excellent. Very glad to hear this!

I felt for you man and I agree that the stuff we go through daily that instantly turns the car to trash after our hard work makes me sick as well.
