A couple months ago I had the great experience of having my vehicle broken into/robbed for the first time. What a coincidence is that it happened when I moved to south FL :angry

Woke up one morning to find my driver door window smashed in and my head unit & iPod stolen, no big deal. The only thing that really sucked was when I got the truck back about 1.5 months later (had to locate a new dash as the thieves broke my original) and received it in a super swirled, hologramed, and paint over sprayed state. I could not believe how bad it was, the good news is that the holograms came off relatively easy. The deeper scratches seem to only be on the doors that have brand new paint, so at least I can afford the clear coat to take something aggressive to it and correct them.

I did not have the time or skill to take care of the deeper scratches so I only used a one step- white LC & FP I
Seems like the paint (except the doors that were painted, they were real bad) polished up easily due to the detail I received from Todd in July, refer to this thread

Process:
-Foamed with Meguiars Gold Class, dwell for about 5 min.
-Washed with two bucket method with mixture of GC & Dawn
-Wheels cleaned inside & out with a Boar's hair brush & EZ brush
-Polished with Menzerna Final Polish via LC White
-Topped with EX-P
-Flitz Metal Polish on Exhaust

Washing under halogens (thanks for the idea Todd & Brian :xyxthumbs)

this thing never gets old

My friend Ryan using the Boar's hair

Like I said before, there were little (and big) spots of overspray all over the truck, thought I would try and attack an area after washing while the truck was wet...but did not seem very effective
