OTC Wheel Safe Brush

Can anyone recommend one so that I don't have to buy it online? I have Pep Boys, Advanced Auto and Autozone around me in Northern NJ. I was also wondering, could I just use a soft bristle paint brush from a hardware store?

I have:

AZ wheel well brush

AZ small brush for wheels (to get between spokes and deep in wheel well)

AZ wheel brush (short brush)

About $10-$15 I think for everything combined. I've done customers cars with these items and they have been very happy with the results. Make sure you use a quality APC (Meg's D103 can be had for $14 at multiple online vendors) and a good tire dressing (Personally I use 4:1 HyperDressing) and you will be pretty happy with the results IMO!

What store did you buy from?

Autodetailingsolutions.com sells both. I suggest buying a gallon of the APC+ and the 32oz sample size of the hyper dressing, but if you rather spend $40 on a gallon of dressing, you can find them both in gallons at several places.

edit: annddd AZ = autozone

Thanks for the advice guys. I was actually looking for an OTC (over the counter) brush that I could find at a local store. Looks like I'm going to have to order over the internet after all. It's inevitable every time I need a detailing product! haha...Just so that I don't have to open a new thread...I have heard that Michael's sells paint brushes which are wheel safe. I believe that the kind of brush is horse hair, but from what I am seeing, the bristles are actually some kind of synthetic material. Are the synthetic bristles safe for the paint on the wheels too?

Well those three brushes can be bought at probably nearly any AutoZone. I say buy those to save on shipping.

The other stuff will have to be ordered online, but IMO they are worth it. I've used probably 5 bottles worth of D103 and if I had gone to AutoZone to buy my cleaner my wallet would be a lot lighter :(

I can't justify $25 for a brush and $20 for a small brush (EZ Detail or Daytona) right now. I am sure they are slightly higher quality, but the AZ brushes should work really well.
