OTC Scratch and Swirl Removers

Does Meguire's, Mothers, or some other OTC company have something in their product line that's good at removing swirls and scratches (hand application)? I'm looking for recommendations to remove some light scratches and swirls from my truck.

Meguiar's Scratch-X has worked well for me in the past. Use with a microfiber towel for minor marring. For minor scratches and heavier swirls, it's sometimes necessary to use a terry cloth for the first application and follow-up with a microfiber for the final pass. Good luck!

Meg's ScratchX is a fairly good OTC swirl remover that works well by hand. Instead of applying with a foam applicator, try a terry or MF towel to apply. it seems to give extra bite to the polish.

its a hand polish-you can top it up with collinite wax

Should I use a prewax after polish and before Collinite?

For example:

1. Wash

2. Polish -Scratch X

3. Prewax

4. Collinite

personally I wouldn't bother-the scratchx has someoils in it and should look nice under the Collinite-if you want you could use Colorx under the 845 for a different look
