otc leather detailer

Does anyone know of a real good otc leather detailer, such as lexol but with a nice smell that does'nt give a shiney appearance?

I use lexol now and like the results but wish it had a better smell. I know zaino and groits have leather products that claim to have a leather smell but just feeling to see if any other products you folks may know of that give a nice matte look with a pleasant smell.:D

My favorite OTC leather products are the Zymol cleaner and conditioner. Pleasant leather smell and they work well. $6-7 per bottle at Target.
 
I agree that Zymol has decent products in their leather cleaner and conditioner.



Depending on where in South Jersey you are, Zaino might be local for you :D
 
I tried Megs stuff and it is terrible. They had it at Autozone on clearance for $.99 and now I know why. I went to a shoe store and asked what they recomended for their highest quality leather shoes. I got a 8 oz bottle for under $20 and it worked out great. A little pricey but my mom loved it on her Tahoe and we had one customer that all really liked it.



What I typically do is clean with Hi Temps Xtreme APC diluted at 20-1 then apply Lexol or that other leather conditioner. I like Lexols conditioner but their cleaner is crap.
 
a couple people here think the Turtle Wax is pretty decent for OTC- i'd try the Platinum version from Target or PepBoys
 
Thanks folks for the feedback. I tried the megs stuff today also cause a friend gave me the foam stuff and I didn't care for it, too glossy and slick:( . I like a nice,grabby, matte finish. :D

Zaino for me probably and hour or two away, well worth looking into. ;)

It is an excellent leather cleaner even when compared to boutique products. Light leather scent, soaks in rapidly and has a subtle sheen. I've been using it pretty exclusively for a couple years now.
 
A vote for TW here. It is really easy to work with and has a calm leather scent. It also doesnt clog the small pores in some leather.
 
Thanks folks for all the responses. I went to Target today and got the TW leather conditioner/cleaner that was recommended here and it was just what I was looking for.:xyxthumbs
