Opti Coat Pro Certified
This 135 was in need of some serious TLC! I see this car from time to time as it belongs to the daughter of a very good customer and friend of mine. About a month ago I noticed it was having the starting signs of clear coat failure on the roof, not to mention holy lotta swirls!
After washing and decon this is what it looked like!
There is some serious issues on the roof hard to see from the pic but it's etched badly from bird bombs and looks like the CC is starting to fail.
That's not what a reflection off a black car should look like.
Got swirls?
So I decided to start on this car out side because I couldn't see this under the shop lights of halogens.
849x + Orange CCS pad + M105 to cut
Big improvement! And I'm soooo good even to my shock no buffer Halo's after M105!
CC failure greatly gone!
After Src compound and orange CCS pad with my dewalt
I swapped over to my 3' bp and using an extension I went and got all the tight area's
Thats after SRC compound/SRC Finshing
After I was done with everything I needed to do out side I pulled it in to get on with the fun part!
Test spot with SRC Compound/849x/Orange CCS pad. Not perfect but big improvement a few more passes were required to get it right.
At this point it was getting really late in the day and I didn't want to work on sunday sooooo I pretty much quit taking pics and just got it done! After correction was done I opti coated it and left it in the detail bay for the my guys to finish on sunday. Side note I'll teach them that taking pics means PUT THE CAR IN THE SUN!!!
Thanks for looking
