Opti Coat Pro Certified
This is a friend of mines 4runner that def needed some love. check it out
I washed it 2 buckets
taped, 3m perfect it compound with rotary and heavy cut wool
washed again and Clayed with 3m perfect it clay(sounds funny but I can never do anything with clay to oxidation so I found cutting it first then claying you get a much better results... Curious to see if anyone else does this)
Tape it up again and using my rotary an orange CCS pad and SIP
Rotary white CCS pad and SRC Finishing polish
Opti coat was then applied as if this car were to to be neglected again as it was and has been I dont think the paint would survive another round of what I just did as it took me sooooo many pass's with compound to through the intial oxidation before I could polish to a bling status.
Really my only before shot because I kinda forgot as I only had 2 working days to finish this car and was in a hurry to get it going. But you can see this is bad the paint looked like chalk on the whole car
This was my test spot on half the hood, This is compound/SIP no finishing polish yet but as can tell I was on the right path.
Done! Sorry i don't have more pics of the work being done... Time was an issue big time.
Thanks for looking
