Opti Coat Pro Certified
This truck showed up and my first thought was "I wonder if I should make some scaffolding to work on this thing?". My next thought was "Of coarse it black!". Lets get it!
Washed using 2x2 citrus wash
Decon with Iron-X and Black fire poly clay(Pro Tip: Use BF Poly clay with BF clay extender spray on those cars where even the slightest bit of marring is gonna cause you to have a bad day)
Correction on this truck was done with BF Finishing polish, MF finishing disc, and Rupes21. This gave me a good bit a cut with an almost LSP ready finish.
Polishing was done with Rupes21, White rupes pad, and BF SRC finishing polish.
There were a lot of dust nibs that had to be removed with 1500/3000. No compounding was needed as other than the nibs the truck was in decent shape and the finishing polish/MF combo had 0 issues with 3k scratches.
After all the correction truck was IPA's 2 times(Wash wasn't need as I have next to no dust on the car after correct/polish steps)
Opti Coat pro was applied to the paint, wheels, and grill. Opti lens pro was used on plastic tail lights and head lights covers, as well as trim. Opti Glass pro was used on front window.
These are the arrival pics. The one above shows the paint in the sun, It was covered in Micro hazing. Not sure what it came from(Maybe someone got PC happy at the factory?) but it caused the truck to have an almost gray look to it. Not a good look on this jet black monster.
After I had finished all my polishing and IPA. I took this shot and thought it looked really cool!
Next morning lets pull it out side and see what we got!
This truck made my Grand Cherokee look like a match box car!
Thanks for looking
