for a long time i have been a 3M user and on top of it i use the zaino.
still love the zaino, but the 3m just doesnt seem to cut it anymore. after some reading on here, i decided to give the poorboys line a try. i ordered ssr1, ssr2.5, and the pro polish along with the advance curved pads for my de-walt rotary.
i always use good microfibers. i really want to get a finish on my new gn that is stunning. its a car that will most likely never get driven and if it gets rained on it only because it was getting trailered to a show. the paint on the car is brand new and looks really good, but it has some fine scratches in it that i want to get out.
any tips on the poorboys? what keeps it from making a mess like the 3m polishes do. do you work the ssr1 in until its almost dry? what speed would you use on the dewalt? 2400 rpms or faster?
after using the 3m for so long, im a little scared of something new.
