I'm so freakin confused right now from this menzerna crap...i almost want to send it back and just use something else...why can't they just label everything the same instead of changing names for different markets...or just use a product code like po 106 instead of nano polish.

Anywho, someone please help me out.

I just recieved my order from Detailers Domain where i thought i was ordering 106ff and SIP3.02. I get a bottle of "Intensive Polish" with PO83 on the bottom, and a bottle of "Nano Polish PO 106" on it, despite the picture on their page saying "Micro Polish PO 106 FF"

Here they list "Menzerna Nano Polish PO106FF" but this picture shows "Micro Polish PO 106 FF"

My bottle says "Nano Polish PO 106" I'm looking for the 106ff for Scratch Resistant Clears...is it the same?

Now to the "Menzerna Super Intensive Polish 32 oz (aka PO83 and PO85RD3.02)"

superintensive.jpg

I didn't even get one that looks like this...with "Super" diagonal in the corner.

autogeek_1975_23913019

Mine looks like this one...which any sane person would think is intensive polish and not super intensive polish.

Again, mine says "Intensive Polish" not "Super Intensive Polish" but it does say PO83 on the bottom tag. Is this SIP3.02?

Can they just use pictures of what they are going to send to you...i knew i shouldn't have ordered this stuff, now i'm stressed out. After reading around for a few weeks i found a couple threads where "SIP 3.02" and "106FF" were used with great results on a C5 Corvette when other products didn't seem to "cut" it, so i wanted to get those products.

I'm not sure why i care, i'm sure i won't even be able to tell the difference, i just like to get the best stuff when i buy things and now i feel like i got something else.

Don't stress, you're fine! You have purchased excellent products from very reputable and reliable distributors that won't steer you wrong. I'll send your post to the factory to bolster the argument that labeling is important.

I have spent much time and many words on this forum trying to set the facts straight on the products, the rationale for product names, the selection of products for the detail market, etc. Let me suggest you read the prior posts.

Don't get hung up on product names and labels. You bought SIP and you got what the all important bottom label says, PO83. Though some are confused by the simplicity of the number "83" is IS easier than the original factory designation of PO85RD3.02. You bought NanoPolish (in an incorrectly named bottle) and the bottom label says PO106FF. The 83 and 106 were developed for scratch-resistant clears in factory applications, you can use them on any coating system with excellent results, and that's what you have received.

I control the determination of how to market and sell to the North American market. I cannot control what others following our lead do in International markets. Ignore the posts from points far away and you'll be good. You can always speak with your dealer/distributor, or send me an email!

Be calm, all is good!

good post

i ordered some SIP from autogeek and got a bottle that says Intensive Polish with a sticker stuck on it that says super

is this how they all are?

I would think that AG is trying to help their customers by enhancing our labels. Only they would know if they have labeled ALL of their bottles this way.

Again, if it has a label on the bottom with PO83, then it is what is call SuperIntensive Polish.

Thanks for clearing this up Jeff...i remember reading a few posts where someone said you are a pretty significant person in Menzerna. I don't remember your position exactly, but i know you are the highest authority on this forum and I'm glad to hear that i have what i wanted.

Also...the tag on my bottle just says 106, there is no FF on it. I think you said somewhere that it is 106ff but it's a part number thing...is that accurate?

Thanks again.

We had decided a while ago to standardize on the PO106FF for aftermarket applications. We also sell other versions of PO106 as necessary in specific industrial applications where the difference would be a benefit and noticeable to optimize a process.

Jeff - care to comment on the differences between 106FF and 106FA? Is 106FA one of those specific industrial applications you are referring to? I was able to pick up some 106FA, but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Yes, it is one of the many versions of industrial polishes that belong to the 106 family. It would be a very futile exercise to even try to explain the nuanced differences that are only apparent in high production rate industrial applications.

We have absolutely no objection to bringing any polish to the aftermarket if it would be a benefit to the user, and there is sufficient demand to warrant another inventory item.

Let me turn your question around and ask you if you notice a difference with the FA in your application.

I have been told that PO106FA is a improved version of PO106FA (less dusting and etc) I don´t know if am imagine but I find FA to be a little less dustier then FF(but I don´t think FF is so dusty).

I have the IP and the Micro Polish. The IP dust like crazy, but worked pretty well. The Micro Polish hardly dusted at all. I noticed both were very easy to work and wipe off, and I like that a lot. the FMJ was also very easy.

I actually don't have any 106FF yet. Now, if you were willing to send me some:) , I'd be happy to oblige for a hood 50/50 application on my '04 Allroad. It has some light defects and is supposedly pretty hard clearcoat.
