Ok, previously I had asked a lot of questions about the Dark Green paint on my wife's Volvo.

I think I have figured it out.

The car has no clear coat.

So, that being the case.

After I Clay the car and polish it to get rid of all the oxidation, what is the best possible way to protect the paint. (Sealent, Wax, Glaze ...)

I know you each have your own preferences here on products. But it seems like most of you have newer cars with nice, perfect paint.

I want to put as much protection on this sucker as I can get from the elements. I really dont want to have to repaint it. At least not until I absolutely have too.

Thanks again for the help.

IF there are swirls, get rid of them with a polish (3M, Meguiars.) If the bottle says safe for clear-coats then I assume they would be safe for 1 stage paints.

To protect it, go with a polymer sealant. Meguiars #20, Klasse kit, and Zaino (think Z-3 for non-clear.)

Just maintain it and apply these polymers twice a year and you should be set.
