Order 100% Viking cotton wash mitts online for $3.99 + shipping

Are you sure that they are the true 100% cotton mitts from Viking. It is my understanding that Viking discontinued the 100% cotton mitts. Just might want to double check.

I recently did a burn test on the "100% Cotton" Viking mitts and the test revealed they are not really 100% cotton. I got some melting of the fibers, which means there is polyester in the mitt.:(

The cardboard holder says 100% cotton. These are the same mitts that DETAILKING did the groupbuy on.

One thing I have learned, just because it says 100% cotton does not mean it's true. I tested one of the Viking mitts that says "100% Cotton" and they DO have polyester in them.

In N.Cal's Kragen the cotton mitts is $3.99 and readily available in all Kragen.

So I don't think it is discontinued and $3.99 is the right price for it.

Local walmart/kmart has the non-cotton Viking mitts. You can feel/see the difference in texture when you look close enough. So they are different although I have no scientific data to backup the 100% cotton claim.

I bought one of the Viking 100% cotton chenille wash mitts from Kragen a week or so back. Seems to do a great job, haven’t noticed any scratching. Did the burn test as well and it does leave a bit of something solid behind. I burned some cotton from a Q-tip and it left just a tiny amount of ash. I’ll use this till I find something I know is 100% pure, but as I mentioned it seems to be doing a good job in the meantime. Viking’s consumer info # is 1-800-325-3545 if someone feels motivated enough to investigate further.
