Orange peel look

Can Machine polishing cause an orange peel look.

At certan angles it looks like orange peel, all other angles

looks like a pice of glass. I don't recall if it looked this bad before

polishing. (orange peel look)

No, machine polishing won't cause orange peel. What you've noticed is correct- you won't be able to see it (typically) unless you look closely at the right angle. You may not have been able to notice it before you polished it because other stuff on the surface kept you from noticing it.
 
You also probably had some oxidation or swirls that were preventing sharp reflections. Now that you have sharper, clearer reflections after polishing, the orange peel is more noticeable. It was not caused by the polishing.
 
Thank's guys ! I'll go back at it then.

I had thought that maybe the clear was just not as clear as it is now

and that might have had something to do with it.

It kind of freaked me out to think I might be causeing it.
