Orange pad is getting clogged

Hi Guys, just got some issues with buffing pads clogging up. I have been using the PC DA buffer on a yellow MX5. The car is 11 years old and has never been buffed in its life, it has needed some rather aggressive product, i.e. Poorboys SSR3 on an orange pad to remove the oxidized paint, about three passes. Then onto SSR2.5 on a green to remove the swirls/hazing and finally finished on a blue pad using Clearkote’s Red Moose Machine Glaze before sealant and wax. Now the problem I have is with the orange pad, it is clogging up too quickly with yellow so I am ending up having to wash it out around every two panels. I am using about an inch of product spread around the edges of the pad, which is covering around a panel. Now because the pad is damp I am not sure if I am getting the best from SSR3 or if it is breaking down (can usually tell by the dust), it doesn't seem to break down until I have the buffer on 6 then I see the yellow streaks. The middle of the pad seems to stay damp with product which can be squeezed out.

So, are oxidised paints more prone to clogging up the pads, do I need to have several dry pads on the go, is it okay for the pad to be damp and finally what's best to clean them whilst in use and after.

I haven't personally dealt with bad oxidized paint, but yes, oxidation will gum up your pads. AIO is great for removing quite a bit of the oxidation.
