Optimum Wax is some impressive stuff!

I'm not going to post an extensive review, because I know there have already been multiple threads about this product. But, I just have to say (after my first use) that I'm impressed. I could not believe how easy it was to use - like any spray-on gloss enhancer. However, it left my car (which currently has AIO X 2, SG X 2, UPP X 3) looking wet and shiny. I have lost of detailing sprays and gloss enhancers on my shelf - but Optimum beat them all (in terms of looks).

If you already have a squeaky clean car (get all the water spots off first, with Final Inspection or something of that ilk), this would be a great way to get a quick just-waxed finish.

good to hear, how long does the wax seem to last for you? Or have you not left it on for that long yet? :)

Six weeks for me, but I just couldn't let the beastie go beyond that without another application. It's as easy as QD. LOVE the stuff!

I got a sample bottle with my order from them. I think I'm going to lay in a gallon of it. Does ne1 know if it would ok to use another Carnuba wax as a topper?

It is the easiest to use spray wax/sealant I have ever used. Couldn't leave it alone long enough to test durability because it is so easy to apply after every wash.

Optimum is definitely on a roll with their OCW, new polish, and their compounding product is nearly finished. :2thumbs:

I just got my Optimum polish and can't wait to try it based on the very positive reviews lately.

If your detailing to make a buck, then this should be your go to wax. I use it on most of my details because it saves so much time and looks damn good.

Yeah it is good stuff I picked up a gallon and I use it on cars to give the customer a little more bang for their buck and more protection especially if my LSP is a Caranuba.

I just used this stuff last weekend for a touch-up on a friend's car.

Looked good and as luck would have it , it rained in biblical proportions right after

I was done----water ran off that car like a scalded dog.

Super easy to use---very impressive.

As it can sometimes be a few months before I can get to this guys car b/w details--(good friend-freebie)--I should be able to report back on durability.

Yeah, OCW is really nice stuff. Been really happy with it. I give a 2 oz bottle to each customer that requests a nauba topper.

It really shows well after 2-3 applications. I refresh after every wash so I have no idea on durability.

Never really measured exactly how much I use per application. I use a bit more than when I use a QD.

It's a little 'bright' on the appearance side so I like it on top of TS/Natty's for lighter metallics. Looks good on darks as well but I prefer a deeper appearance on darks so I don't top black/red with OCW.

I like to use mine after the weekly wash, it always adds a nice slick surface and nice reflections on my green paint.

It can be topped but I prefer to use it as my final topper. Looks nice on AIO and also very nice with Trade Secret.

How many oz you u guys use per car?

Well a gallon will last me a very long time and I do alot of cars with it. I would guess that the cost is about $.60 to $.80 cents per average size car so as already noted if you are a pro then this is the stuff you need if you wish to save time, increase cars whichin turn increases profit.

You can use it as a base for carnaubas, in fact, on my car right now, I have CMW + OCW + Souveran.
