Optimum Users - Need Help

I'm considering trying Optimum polish and Poli-seal in a couple months. I have read in this forum about the long working time. Does this mean that I'm going to spend more time per panel until the polish completely breaks down, thus giving me my desired finish? If that's the case, would I be better off getting a different polish? Any opinions, advice and suggestions? I will be removing some swirls and minor scratches from a black lexus and a red gmc denali. My LSP will be DG105 topped with Natty's blue or Megs 26. Thanks.

I'm sure this will be argued from some quarters, but I look at the OP as being more of a lubricant, where the pad does the work. In that case you can work it for as long or as short of a time as you desire. I haven't used it in about a year, but I don't remember it having a "mandatory" breakdown time.
