which is better for wells?

i use the regular Opt tire shine for tires...

i want something i can possibly dilute and spray apply.

What is the best tire conditioner you can get for a decent price. Something that won't sling. I have the same question about the Wheel Wells. For the wells, I would be looking for something durable and something that every spec of dust and dirt would not latch on to it. Thanks for bringing up this thread, as I'm having issues with tire protectant.

well, i have to admit for tires i LOVE the optimum tire shine. it mimics the new tire look with a matte shine, it's easy to apply, of course it doesn't sling, it lasts quite some time, and it's water based. whew. ok, i don't know what else a tire product should do, but it does it!

now, sounds like it'd be ideal for wells, right? well, the only reason i'm asking about something else for the wells is because dave ghoudassi, the owner of optimum, told me that it might be a little 'watery' in it's consistency to be useful for spray application to the wells. what he means is it'd waste product. i'm just ordered a 128oz refill so i'm going to put some in a fine mist spray bottle and try it anyway.

i also recently ordered a 128oz container of Megs hyper dressing 'cause after doing research, it seems that it is the best all around bet for wells. its about 44 dollars for the 128oz, but it can be diluted up to 4:1 for a matte dark finish! that is quite a value.

I'd recommend something cheap for the wells. After all, they are just wheel wells. I've found that Meg's Hyper-dressing works quite well and is very cheap.

Go to big lots and get whatever they have cheap for wells. I found 32oz Michelin Tire Shine for $3.50...I bought all they had.

I sprayed my front wells with semi-gloss black Krylon and now just apply a thin layer of Gliptone White Satin to them with a pad. I get the White Satin pretty cheap and its not oily so it doesn't collect dirt and debris. I sprayed the rear wells with Dupli-Color undercoating/sound deadener and it only takes a diluted APC now to make it look great.

Chemical Guys makes a product called Bare Bones Undercarriage spray that gets pretty good reviews, but I've never used it.
