Optimum Power Clean vs Wolfgang Über Wheel Cleaner - Thrifty vs Fifty Episode 5

I like teeth
Hey guys, this is the fifth episode in a series of videos I'm making called Thrifty vs Fifty.

Essentially I'm comparing two products that can do the same function: one with a low price tag and the other with a high one... and to see if the added price is worth it. Hence, the thrifty vs fifty.

I'm not just going around finding the cheapest and most expensive options out there and comparing them. In my eyes, that comparison would be useless. I am comparing two products that people on forums have highly recommended for a certain task and then if they have big enough different price points, making a video comparison.

Today's episode is on SAFE wheel cleaners.

Optimum Power Clean at a 1:10 dilution vs Wolfgang Uber Wheel Cleaner!

Thrifty Vs Fifty Episode 5

Optimum Power Clean:

$36 for a gallon of concentrate... or ~ $4 for ready to use at 1:10 dilution.

Wolfgang Uber Wheel Cleaner:

$20 for 16 oz or $80 for a gallon.

Conclusion:

Both products are safe and work extremely well. You will get effective wheel cleaning with both products.

Advantage:

The advantage definitely goes to OPC for doing everything WUWC does, but many times cheaper.

Nicely done!

Thanks Mike!

Nice video. Thanks for taking the time to compare the two products.

Thanks for watching Ben :)

Nice work. I don't know who is buying that Wolfgang Wheel Cleaner. The price is just crazy for 16 oz.

Yeah that price is kind of ridiculous. I mean the product works well, and it has a cool color changing characteristic, but it just is not worth it when so many safe AND effective wheel cleaners are out there.

I only got it because it was on bogo :rofl

nice..but i thought you have a camaro..lol

My wheels are NEVER dirty enough to do a video like this :lol2:

Cool video, nicely done!
.. Did you really do a whole "video" on the other side without the camera on? haha

You have no idea. I talked to the camera and everything. And then when I was like oh okay I'm done, I get to looking at the video on the camera and bam, non-existent video. Lol I was so frustrated!

Thanks for watching!

Nice set of videos you have there. I don't think that those wheels were really dirty as compared to many judging by the finger swipe on both sides. Looks like just car wash soap and a brush would get them just as clean. That's all I ever use as my wheels are properly sealed.

Great Video thanks for the link.

:bigups Thanks for watching!

I agree that they weren't extremely dirty. However, what I was unable to show in the video were the wheel barrels... those have not been cleaned for the last 10k miles! Both products made quick work of the grime coupled with the daytona jr brush.

Thanks for looking!
