I do not know about you folks, but, I'm going to finish using all of my detailing products and switch everything to Optimum products. That is, if there is an Optimum product, I will finish using what I have and order the Optimum version of the same product.

All of the Optimum products that I currently have, they are very easy to use and save a great deal of time vs. the other detailing products. ONR, SNAP!! lol I do not have to waste water and am able to save some good washing time. The product makes the exterior feel nice and smooth. Of course, I have to use my HPW maching to clean under the wheel wells, tires and some other small items.

Another great thing they offer is the Opti-Seal. I have done several vehicles, from 2008 to 2010, doing an ONR, Clay if needed (Optimum does not offer a clay bar), DP Max Wax (Optimum does not offer a Carnauba Wax) and finish the vehicles paint with the Opti-Seal. To me, by detailing the exterior in THAT ORDER runs very well, sleek and smooth. It holds up on a vehicle for a good amount of time. I have been using it on my 2008 Mazda 3s GT. I do not have a chance to clean my own car very often. Friday morning, I did an ONR on it and the paint still feels nice and smooth.

Here are some pictures of vehicles I've done on this Opti-Seal basis:

Another one that is missing is a 2008 Ford Shelby GT 500KR. I'm upset about that one since I did not have my digital camera with me since he called me at a moments notice.

Of course, I have a few other Optimum products, but I will not add more to the story. LOL All I will say is that I have the new Optimum Hyper Polish Spray that I have a vehicle, or two, that I will detail by the ONR, Clay, HYPER POLISH SPRAY and finish it with the Opti-Seal.

agreed on Optimum, easy to use and give good results. i can't say i've been dissappointed in any of the products i've tried thus far...

Personally, I wasn't all that impressed with Poli Seal. It reminded me of Crisco. I feel that Megs ColorX is the better product and you don't have to pay for shipping charges.

But I do have to say that the picture of the red car looks very nice-similar to red after using Mothers Showtime.

This is what the Red Lexus looked like before:

SRHTX,

WannaFbody was talking about Poli-Seal, not Opti-Seal. From your post above the Lex has Opti on it, correct?

I know he said the Poli-Seal. I have never used the PS since I do not own it. Just the OS. Also, I was just showing him, and everyone, what the Lexus looked like in the begining.

Tis all!! :bigups

Good work SRHTX-that car looks great. Optimum makes products that produce great looking click and brags but as a Pro I wouldn't limit myself entirely to one product line. Optimum makes some solid products but you can find products in other lines that can produce equal results for less. Take for instance megs Ultimate Compound- for $9 a bottle IMO it's easier to use and produces better results than more expensive products such as SIP or the older versions of Optimum Compound.

Optimum stuff rocks. I am just about using most of their stuff too - thus far I have the car wash, OPT and OCW. I love their products.

Never even heard about Optimum until Anthony Orosco sent me a couple of their products to try. Been hooked ever since.

I like to stop by and see Anthony and Ron when I see my family in Boerne. They are very good people. They are always about to assit with any questions.

While I certainly wouldn't limit my product collection to just Optimum (their polishes are not that great when compared to Megs and Menzerna), I have been very happy with most of their stuff. ONR, Optimum Car Wash (conventional wash soap), OCW, OID, OPS, OS, are all great products that I use frequently.

Well, I'm looking forward to getting the Hyper Polish Spray in tomorrow or Wednesday. From watching the video with Mike & David, I'm very impressed and waiting to us it on my own vehicle as a test. At this time, I will continue to use Megs 105. With the new HPS, I might have to use 205 any longer. If Anthony and Mike like the spray, then, you know if has to be very good to impress.

My $.02

Optimum is back in the game with their new Hyper Polish and Hyper Compound that is coming out soon. The new Hyper Compound Spray has the cut of M105, but does not dust and is a breeze to work with.

Yep. That is why I have to use the rest of my 105 before the good stuff comes in. LOL :thx

you should top the oos with the maxwax.. not the other way around

Was this one for me? If so, that is not a true case. Doing Max Wax followed by OS works very well and is much easier. David (Optimum) and Anthony (Concours) are very aware with what I've done and have advised me that is the way they do it themselves.

I tried Optium Spray Wax the other day. I immediately tried to wipe it off and it was as though it was glued to the paint. A nightmare. I tried another section of the car, same result. Letting it sit, only made it worse.

I had to grab some cheap Megs Gold Class, put it on and dry, to get the surface clear again.

What's the secret to Optimum Spray Wax?

the secret is to prime the microfiber(3 or so sprays for the first panel) and the rest just spray a half a spritz/panel(directly on the panel) and wipe off immidiatly. dont let it sit there
