Thanks fellas. I normally would not use such a product but I have a new client that doesn't like to get his cars too wet.

Haha, no one will judge you for using one product or another here. Good luck with the client. :)

Joe I think you'll be in for a rude awakening with NRWS, and a pleasant surprise......

May I ask why not? ONR is the real deal. All or most of the "big dogs" on here use it, so you know it's great stuff.

Joe is a big dog.:) I use ONR for maintenance type details, however, I find it faster and more thorough to use traditional soap and a pressure washer for moderately soiled vehicles. I would imagine Joe's situation is similar.

I am old school (detailing for 25 30 years) and never had a reason for it.

Times are a changing and I had to make my own last week (water, a dash of soap, Meguiars last touch and a mit) worked pretty good so I can't imagine how something specificly made for that kind of washing will work.

I've used ONR on a few occasions. Like for Firetrucks on display in a Convention Center. Works well on paint, but not so well on wheelwells, etc.

But, 99% of our washes are done in the bay with a proper trench drain and trap/separator.

2 cents, that's all.

No offense there. Being new to the board, I'm still learning who's who.

My fault, Joe.

Joe,

I get my Optimum products from Patrick. He's great and fast!

I was old school as well, but have been using the ONR for a couple of months. It's getting me "IN" with my city government. That's all I will say about that on this public board as others here just happen to be competition for me- great guys, just don't want to give away the work I'm doing too soon.

Anyway, I think you will find that for weekly clients, this product will speed up work and require less physical labor.

Let us know how you like or don't like it.

I use a pump sprayer and prespray the car before going to the bucket with a microfiber mitt.

Stellar Rob!! Do you like the MF mitt more so then a sheepskin?

Also, hats off to you for giving back to the schools with every upper end detail.........:goodjob

Patrick,

I have not tried anything but the mitt and a foam washing mitt- Dedication to Detail. The blue mitt was given to me as a sample from one of the factories. I didn't use it until ONR. It works very, very well!

I hear a lot of guys using grout sponges now...I have yet to try that.

Can't wait for my order to arrive--gallons from now on!! If you did not ship yet, add one more gallon of ONR- sold a friend on it.

Thanks, Rob
