I want to summarize and confirm what the correct steps are when using Optimum Compound (OC), Polish (OP), Poli-Seal (OPS) with Lake Country pads. This is based from what I've researched so far in the forum. I also have a couple of questions in parenthesis below.
Are the steps below the correct way to tackle a daily driven, lightly swirled w/ some medium scratches, car?
First start with
1. OPS + gray
If light swirls still visible
1. OPS + white
2. OPS + gray (is a gray pad necessary here before wax application?)
If light swirls still visible
1. OP + white
2. OPS + gray (is OPS still necessary here before wax application?)
For medium scratches
1. OC + white
2. OP + white
3. OPS + gray
If medium scratches still visible
1. OC + orange
2. OP + white
3. OPS + gray
In addition to the two questions in parenthesis above, do the above steps look correct?
Thanks in advance.
