Optimum Gloss Coat Trim Prep

I`m installing gloss coat on my black trim. I could not find any specific prep instructions other then the generic IPA wipe down.
My plan was gently scrub using OPC rinse after it dried do an Eraser wipe down then coat it.
Any advice?

Exactly what kind of trim? Hard, smooth plastic? If so, a good wash and IPA wipedown should do the trick. Unless you’ve got some other product on it now hat would leave a heavy residue, I don’t think the scrubbing and all that would be necessary.

I would say your plan looks good. For textured trim its all about having it clean and free of oils, previous dressings, etc.
