Hey all, I am relatively new to detailing. I was looking to purchase eather SSR 2.5 or Optimum Compound. I will be doing it with a PC. I have IP and FP 2, but I want something a little more agressive. I know that SSR 2.5 will cut quicker and more, and that Optimum works long and there is virtually no dust. Now here are the questions(considering this will be done with a 6.5" LC orange pad):
1)If worked long enough, will the optimum cut more than the SSR 2.5?
2)How does the cut of SSR 2.5 compare to say, IP?
and 3)Does Optimum compound have "diminishing abrasives" or something like that?
Basically I want something that cuts quickly, but I will go for the optimum if it can cut more than 2.5 if worked in long enough.
Thanks!
