opti-seal applicator storage question...

got my opti seal today and from what i have read here I need to spray the foam pad to prime it right ? ok when you guy are finished putting on the OS do you wash out the foam applicator or just store it in a plastic zip loc bag to keep it from drying out so that you do not have to re-prime it the next time ?

I would wash it as you probably dont want any old product drying up on you.

The instructions just say wash it out and you are ready to go.
