Opti-Seal and FK1 215

For anyone familiar with these two products, are they alike in their ability to correct minor swirls?

From the posts about OPS, I gather that it can correct minor swirls, finishes nicely as a polish, and leave a decent level of protection. Does 215 act similarly?

Thanks in advance for the help!

215 is more aggressive than OPS. The final result are a bit different; OPS is darker and slicker, 215 is more neutral. Durability is comparable; but I have not enough experience with OPS yet.

Thanks Bence! I have read many of your past posts regarding the FK1 line and and was hoping that you would chime in with your experiences. I think you are Autopia's FK1 guru! :xyxthumbs

Even though 215 may be more aggressive, does it finish down in a similar fashion? Would I need an extra polish step on darker colors?

215 finishes down to absolutely LSP-ready levels. Not a coincidence, that it is an OEM approved plastic window restorer for convertibles.

However OPS contains a more advanced, finer powder package (similar to the Menzerna final polishes). If you want the same final finish, you'll find the equivalent abrasive in the FK1 336NG high gloss final polish.

I think both will do an excellent job.
