Quick question , Im going to do a brother in laws Z71 truck for him next weekend.



its pretty bad and going to need some serious work.....Its a pewter color and im looking at doing Poli-seal, ocw, then opti-seal



Not sure about these products as im noew to the line,



im needing something to cut out the scratches prior to the PS



is this a good combo? what compound should i use prior? maybe some megs #80 or even a megs#3?



multiple steps are fine as i have plenty of time....

No idea what compound you should use, I can't see the car, so you will just have to start light and move up in aggressiveness as needed. You should do Opti-Seal before OCW.
 
Well as for the truck , its a 96 and i dont think it has had wax in years much less a wash...



hes a part time farmer.... so its always muddy and has light tree scrub scratches....



thanks for the advice about the OCW , would the poli provide enough cut with a orange pad or should i maybe use the optimum polish
