Opti-Bond questions.

I'm thinking of ordering some with my next order from Danase. Does it have any advantages over their regular tire shine? It's a gel but I know some people use a spray gun to apply it. Could it be used in a regular spray bottle if it was cut with some water? Or would that be pointless and basically make it into their regular tire shine? Basically I haven't been able to find a ton of information about this stuff but I'm in the market to try a new tire dressing and it looks interesting. Any help is appreciated.

I think you should leave its dilution as is for better overall performance. That said, the air gun application is not for everyone, because most of us don't have this fine piece of equipment.

However, the OB II works so good with an applicator! Spreads great, and with two layers it looks awesome.

Thanks Bence! I don't mind using an applicator since I currently use Armor All original on an Eagle One tire swipe. How would you compare it to other tire dressings you have used? How is the durability?

I think the appearance of the product is simply wonderful. Deep black, with absolutely new-like overall impression.

Durability, ehh, I always do something with my tires, so I don't have objective records on it...

Little add-on:

OB II: blackest, most natural

FK1 108: silkiest shine, lighter

Carlack Plastikpflege: similar to OB but lighter and a bit blotchier, best beading

AA foam: balanced, handsome, OTC, holds up quite well

TWPUG: not as black but still looks good, good beading

1Z Reifenschaum: almost as black as OB II but greasier

I'm definately going to order some to try. I don't know why I ask about durability, though. Like you, I never leave my tires alone for more than a week without cleaning and dressing them.
