The product dries inside the head when not used regularly. All I have ever had to do is dissassemble the sprayer, soak in hot soapy water, and reassemble pumping some of the warm soapy water through. I keep an extra cleaned so i don't have to clean on the fly, but it only takes 5 minutes or less to clean. You can go longer between needing to clean by shaking the product very well before use and shaking it a little between each panel.
I will send you a replacement head if you need one, but I've only had one cleaning wouldn't fix and that's because I broke it trying to "force" it to spray with the tip closed.
