Opt car was (new formula) Review

I havent found much in the way of a review on here on Opt car wash except Anthony O's review a while back. I used this today and here are my findings (sorry no pics). First of all this was used with a butchers foam gun. I was using a 20/1 mix (water/shampoo) to get a decent foaming action i had to set the foam gun to the highest concentration setting. The foam was thick but only slightly better then my normal shampoo (TOL bubble bath). This Shampoo is very slick, more so then the TOL. It also leaves a nice finish when done. The cleaning ablity is slightly better then the TOL.

To categorize it i would rate it as this compaired with TOL.

Slickness - Opt, one of the slickest ive used

Foaming - Opt, slight advantage

Longevity of foam - TOL (the opt didnt last very long at all, i work in sections always but the opt seems to last about half the time as the TOL) No matter what i tried this was always the outcome)

Conclustion, Opt's new formula seems to be a decent wash but i am disapointed in its foaming ablity, I had foam laying on the ground for a while but it does me no good if its not on the vehicle.

I have a gallon of the old formula that i want to compare it to. I really want to try some Poorboys SS&S, i hear really good results with it and a foam gun.

Im sure ill be posting my findings :)

Hope this helps someone :), if you have questions.....shoot away!

well, i decided not to be lazy an try out the old formula on my car. I mixed a much more concentrated batch for this. aprox 5/1.

comaprison vs the new formula.

Slickness - almost as slick but still behind

foaming - not as much initial foam (foam gun on the same settings)

Longevity - Although not as much initial foam the longevity seemed slightly better im sure if i mixed the new formula at a bit higher concentration i would have better results at this.

the old formula is still a good wash, not as good as the new (if mixed with a much higher concentration). but who could pass up the old formula on clearance for 9.99 a gallon :)
