opinion on black magic pro shine protectant?

Anyone use this stuff before? I think it does a pretty good job. and it doesnt smell that bad either. Really shines up a dash and plastic/vinyl nice. My question is that i've read that some products like this can actually dry the plastic/vinyl. Do you know if the same is true about this product or does it really help protect and benefit the material?
 
It is said that glossy, solventy ( the clear kind) of dressings can accelerate degradation and UV damage to vinyl surfaces. IMO the better choice is to use a water based dressing that offers UV protection: 303 (best, highest resin content), Vinylex and even Armor All for example, are a few of several choices.
