Not to get your hopes up or anything but I would really suggest that you get a feel for products and detailing before opening a shop up. Just start by trying various products and you choose what works for you and what possibly works for others. Next is tools. You will need the right tools if you want to be successful. Well you not only need to have them, you need to know how to use them, the correct way. If I were you, I'd work up my experience before I would even consider opening a shop. This is a rough business and even though you are interested in detailing, it doesn't mean it will be successful. It all depends on your work, your area, your services, and your prices. Good luck and there is nothing better than to try and meet and exceed your goals.

It is a rough business. And don't open in a Canadian winter unless you have big signs and a dedicated wash bay.
